Passed in! XY Falcon GT-HO Phase 3

A XY Falcon GT-HO Phase 3 was passed in at auction in Melbourne this week. It was passed in at a whopping $480,000. The rare XY Phase 3 which originally cost $5,300 in 1971 was once predicted to become the first million dollar Australian made classic car. It’s considered the most famous Australian muscle car ever.

Winner of the 1971 Bathurst 500 driven by Allan Moffat, the Phase 3 has been described as simply one of the best cars in the world.

The one that went under the hammer was impeccably restored and had only changed hands four times.

You got to ask yourself…..what else would you spend half a million dollars on?
