Mens Health & Prostate Cancer Awareness

The EJ Whitten Foundation holds a special place in our hearts as we had the opportunity to support this incredible charity through our passion for car restoration.

Our TV show pilot, which has since become an International TV series, began with the restoration of a 1966 EJ Holden in memory of the legendary football player, Ted Whitten.

Our first episode , An “EJ for EJ”  see’s Dec commit to building an “EJ Holden for the EJ Whitten” Charity Foundation. In only 9 short weeks Dec has to call in his buddies, and well known AFL legends Sam Newman, Doug Hawkins, Robert “Dipper” DiPierdomenico, Billy Brownless and comedian Russell Gilbert to help finish the build in time for the auction day.

The Resto My Ride team poured their hearts and souls into the project, meticulously restoring the EJ Holden to its former glory. The car went on to become one of the most beloved creations in our portfolio and we are proud to have been a part of its journey. Our efforts culminated in the car’s auction where it sold for over $80,000, a testament to the incredible craftsmanship and dedication of our team.

Supporting the EJ Whitten Foundation is a privilege for us, as we share their commitment to making a difference in the lives of those affected by prostate cancer. The memory of Ted Whitten continues to inspire us, and we are honoured to have been able to pay tribute to him and his legacy through our work on the EJ Holden restoration – An EJ for EJ.

We were honoured to be able to restore this classic and iconic Holden for the foundation and to contribute to their mission of promoting awareness and early detection of prostate cancer.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to our Resto my Ride fans for their unwavering support of our business.

With your contributions, we are able to continue making a positive impact on causes that matter to our community. Thank you!
