Restored EJ Holden sells at Auction for record breaking price of $70,000.
An “EJ for EJ” was the first project for a new series called Resto my Ride and was sold at auction at the EJ Whitten Foundation’s Grand Final Lunch on September 30th for a record breaking price of $70,000
Owner of Bodymaster Prestige Paint and Panel, Declan McKearney says “ We are thrilled that the Foundation has been able to raise this amount of money for the car!”
Not only is the price of the EJ Holden a record breaking Australian price for an EJ Holden, it is also the highest amount ever received for an auction item for the EJ Whitten Foundation.
The entire restoration has been filmed and will be the launch pad for a new show called “ Resto my Ride”. The first show following the restoration journey of the EJ Holden from the ground up whilst also raising awareness for Men’s health and the EJ Whitten Foundation.
