At Resto My Ride, we’re pretty passionate about cars and we’re also committed to making a difference. That’s why we proudly support Variety, Childrens Charity across Australia and Variety Motoring events. Variety run some of the most well-run and exciting charitable motoring events in Australia. These events are organised to raise funds for Variety, an incredible charity dedicated to helping kids in need.

Resto my Ride are now on our third car build for the iconic Variety Bash, its deep in our veins the passion we have for getting Bash Cars ready and on the road for such an aweseom cause.

What is the Variety Bash?

Often imitated, never bettered, the Variety Bash is Australia’s longest-running and most iconic charity motoring event. Each year, the Variety Bash sees hundreds of participants across the country fundraise and hit the road for kids in need. Known for its flare and fanfare, it’s always a sight to behold when the Variety Bash comes to town!

The Variety Bash events in NSW/ACT, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia is typically an 8-10 day event that takes participants across this incredible country in a colorful convoy of awesome enthusiast “bash” cars. The route is always jam-packed with iconic Aussie tourist destinations and off-road adventures. Stops at schools and small towns along the way allow us to spread joy and support local communities. The Bash’s impact is profound, with spending on fuel, food, and tourism often resulting in the biggest trading days of the year for the regional communities we visit. Sometimes, our outrageous crew’s even outnumbers the locals!
